The MFE-S-842H is a rod designed for hard lures being used a great distance. The casting weight (up to 35g) allows you to use slightly heavier lures than the standard 10-30g, or use a standard 28g and be able to hit it hard to the horizon! The action is indeed fast, the tip of the rod slightly softer than the blank allowing you to bring life easily to your lure. This rod will fire your minnow, metal or surface lure out miles for its length, and working them back with small twitches made easy with the fast tip. The skeleton reel seat is not only light and egonomic, it also allows your hand to keep contact with the carbon, making sure you feel every bump and knock.
