When I first set eyes on these BR Fish softies and matching Jigheads, I thought "Ah another soft lure...just what we need...NOT". But once I picked them up and checked out the tech that has gone into them, I was impressed!
Not just another softie at all, Duo have played with these lures to maximise their use. Just like the old dilema of which way round to rig the mighty Megabass Xlayer and Slug-gos, the BR Fish can be rigged either way to change the preformance of what the lure does.
Rigged flat side down it will sit hook up on the bottom, and you can twitch it like a along the bottom where it will sink slightly slower and more natural. The BR Fish Jigheads have "Glider Fins" either side, which keep the head up a little when twitching, making the lure swim more naturally. These "Glider Fins" also mean on a straight retrieve with slight twitch pulses created by you, the lure will stay straighter and ripple the softie in to life.
Rig her flat side up, and she becomes a panicked/darting bait fish that is easily twitched to make it dart from side to side. So, you have options how to rig and how to fish difference scenarios. We highly recommend you use the Duo BR Fish Jigheads with these lures to make the most of the tech that has gone in to them.
