The Ra'is WL-3 Waterline is the latest concept rod to hit the UK from Ra'is in Italy. Being a typical Italian rod they are a very "steely" action, with the power/crispness coming in to play from the first bend of the rod. The high carbon content throughout (including the "sharp touch" handle) gives the rod a heavy action, allowing the angler to feel every sensation, from the working of the lure to the taps from structure and fish.This basically means no matter where you hold your rod/reel you will have your hand on carbon that is of course in direct contact with the rod, reel, line and lure. After a few trips you will begin to feel exactly what your lure is doing.

The reel seat and rings are all the highest Japanese Fuji fittings. The rod is beautifully balanced when matched with a (light) 4000 or (standard/light) 2500/3000 reel. The tip becomes extremely light in your hand, allowing for easy and precise movements of the lure.
